Mollis has a nice quiet atmosphere that make it feel like it would be a great place to take your girlfriend for a quiet and relaxing date. It is very clean and classy, and has a relaxing energy that feels warm and comforting.
I am afraid I cannot say that the cakes in this place are absolutely excellent. That being said this place is still worth checking out particularly if you like desert places. The cakes are definitely better than any of the other factory style places that you may have had at any normal cafe. The first time I came to this place I had some sort of a chocolate berry bar that was an interesting medley of flavors. It had all different kinds of berries in it and the outside was hard chocolate. There were layers of chocolate brownies like material between and the plate is elegantly decorated with delicious sauces.
This past time that I went here we ordered two cakes. One of them was a lemon tart that was about how you'd expect to a lemon tart to be. It had that intense lemon flavor and was very sour. It was topped with a sweet cream that balanced out the sour lemon flavor very well. We also ordered the tiramisu which was made inside of a thin hard chocolate dish. It was mostly cream with a brownie like chocolate bread in the middle of the bowl.
One thing that really stands out at this place is the presentation of the cakes. They are all served beautifully on a plate complete with swirly hard chocolate toppings and square pieces or other sweet waffle like breads. There are brightly colored sauces spread over the plate to give an elegance to the plate as well.
This place has good cakes, great presentation and a relaxing atmosphere and I recommend checking them out sometime if you live in the area.
